1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Gear Valor (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including the website gearvalorshop.com and any products or services we offer (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, or by placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Site.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live to place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Products & made-to-order items
We sell costumes, suits, masks, and related gear. Some items — including full suits fitted to your height and weight — are made to order based on the measurements and options you submit at checkout. You are responsible for the measurements and selections you provide; we produce each order according to them. We may update product designs, packaging, or photos at any time, and slight variations from photos are normal for handmade and custom items. Items shown as “free with purchase” are subject to availability.
4. Pricing & payment
All prices are displayed in US dollars and are subject to change at any time without notice, but changes never apply to orders we have already accepted. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting an order you confirm that the payment method is yours or that you are authorized to use it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders we suspect are fraudulent or placed in error.
5. Order acceptance & cancellation
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract between us forms when we accept your payment. Because made-to-order items enter production quickly, contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order; we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once production has begun. If we cancel an order after payment, you receive a full refund.
6. Shipping & delivery
Shipping is free on every order. Typical delivery takes 5 to 7 business days depending on your region, and estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to reschedule delivery or refund the order. 7. Returns, refunds & exchanges
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us with your order number and a photo of the issue and we will replace it or refund you at no cost. Parcels lost in transit are replaced or refunded as well. Because many items are made to your measurements, we may not be able to accept returns for fit reasons when the measurements you supplied were followed correctly — when in doubt, message us before ordering and we will help you get it right.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site. That means no interfering with its operation, no attempting to access data or systems you are not authorized to reach, no scraping or reselling content without permission, no placing fraudulent orders, and no using the Site to violate any law or the rights of others. We may suspend or block access for violations.
9. Intellectual property
The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and product photography, is owned by Gear Valor or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce, or use our content commercially without written permission. Character names and likenesses referenced in product names remain the property of their respective rights holders; we sell fan-made apparel and accessories.
10. Disclaimers
The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Colors may appear differently on different screens, and costume products are intended for cosplay and entertainment use and are not protective equipment.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gear Valor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gear Valor and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will first be addressed by contacting us; we aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country give you rights that conflict with these Terms, those rights prevail.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
